At Ozarks Teen Challenge, our mission is simple: transform the lives of those struggling with addiction through the power and grace that comes with a relationship with Jesus Christ. While our mission and outreach is full of many unique challenges, a lack of support is thankfully not one of them.
All of us here at Ozarks Teen Challenge are blessed to have a community of individuals who not only support our mission, but also continually encourage and challenge us to continue the work we were created to do here on Earth.
It is because of supporting community members like you that we are able to house, educate, and invest in young men with youth programs that continually give new life and opportunity. Even still — what do donations to Ozarks Teen Challenge actually pay for?
How Ozarks Teen Challenge Utilizes Donations
Expanding our housing for students
As you probably know, Ozarks Teen Challenge is a Christian boarding school for troubled teens. This means we house all of our students for a period of 15 months. During this time, we make it our priority to provide all students with a comfortable, clean, warm, and welcoming environment in which to thrive. Currently, we only have the capacity to house 28 students at a time, but we have a need for much more! Donations made to our Home of Hope project can help us expand our student housing capacity to 48 students so we can continue to expand our Christian teen rehab center and offer hope to more families in need.
Scholarships for low-income students
Donations to Ozarks Teen Challenge’s Keep Hope Alive Fund helps us to alleviate general expenses and provide low-income students with scholarships to help pay for the cost of our teen rehab program. We love being able to provide this service because we realize that a caring, Christian rehab program for teens is not always easy to find. We strive to make our services affordable for those who need them most and general donations to our Keep Hope Alive Fund enable us to do this.
