Rev. Adam Holderread

Adam is a native of Illinois and loves spending time with his wife and three kids who inspire him to take joy in the small things everyday.  Adam has been on staff with us since 2010. Since then, Adam has worked as Support Staff, School Administrator, Recreation Coordinator, and Admissions Coordinator before moving into his current position working with our Discipleship Team.

Adam’s undergraduate degree focused on Criminal Justice and Psychology.  After completing his Bachelor’s degree, Adam attended Drury University where he completed his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice.  Prior to Teen Challenge, Adam was a police officer (SWAT) and was also a certified less-lethal instructor for his department.  Adam also spent some time teaching as an adjunct professor at Evangel University.

Adam completed his Master’s of Divinity at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. He also currently serves in the Army Reserves and is an endorsed Chaplin with the Assemblies of God. Adam works alongside Derrick, as our Assistant Discipleship Coordinator, focusing on the day-to-day program and individual discipleship meetings.  Adam is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God and is motivated to provide qualified, professional service for our students and their families.  Adam is passionate about discipleship and enjoys mentoring the students, as well as working with their families.
