Dan Eckels resides in Fayetteville, AR with his wife, Nancy. They have three adult married children and one grandchild. Dan has a finance background and retired from Washington Regional Medical System (WRMS) in early 2023. His affiliation with WRMS began in 1989 as Director of Accounting, then Dan served as its SVP & CFO from 2000 until his retirement in February 2023. Before joining WRMS, Dan was a staff CPA for KPMG in Kansas City, MO. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Missouri State University in 1985 and a Master of Science from the University of Arkansas in 1998.

Ozarks Teen Challenge provides at-risk teen boys ages 13-17 who have struggled with substance use disorder and other life-controlling issues with a 15-month comprehensive, holistic, Christ-centered residential program that is focused on their personal, social, academic, physical, and spiritual growth. Students journey through our five-phase comprehensive program that provides them with individual counseling and mentorship, a customized academic track, leadership training, life skills training, community service opportunities, physical fitness training, and outdoor skills development.
