Dan Kersten has worked with missionaries and pastors in the area of ministry development and missions fundraising for 20 years. HE currently serves the combined National Men’s Ministries and Light for the Lost offices as Director of Communications and Development, at the Assemblies of God National Office in Springfield, MO. Dan has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Evangel University and a Masters in Intercultural Studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Dan is also an ordained AG minister through the Southern Missouri Network. Dan lives in Republic, MO, with his wife, Tara, and son, Omar.

Ozarks Teen Challenge provides at-risk teen boys ages 13-17 who have struggled with substance use disorder and other life-controlling issues with a 15-month comprehensive, holistic, Christ-centered residential program that is focused on their personal, social, academic, physical, and spiritual growth. Students journey through our five-phase comprehensive program that provides them with individual counseling and mentorship, a customized academic track, leadership training, life skills training, community service opportunities, physical fitness training, and outdoor skills development.
