Dr. Towery has been been a supporter of the OTC ministry for 10 years and a member of the board since 2022. He is a dermatologist with a private practice in Joplin, MO since 1997. He is active in his local church and serves as a volunteer physician at Choices Medical Clinic, which serves young men and women with at-risk pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. Dr. Towery serves in international medical missions by providing dermatological and general medical services with 1-2 short term trips per year. He is fully supportive of the mission of Ozarks Teen Challenge as it ministers to troubled teen boys and their families.
About Us
Ozarks Teen Challenge provides at-risk teen boys ages 13-17 who have struggled with substance use disorder and other life-controlling issues with a 15-month comprehensive, holistic, Christ-centered residential program that is focused on their personal, social, academic, physical, and spiritual growth. Students journey through our five-phase comprehensive program that provides them with individual counseling and mentorship, a customized academic track, leadership training, life skills training, community service opportunities, physical fitness training, and outdoor skills development.
